If anybody still had questions about whether or not Brandon Roy deserved to be all-star, those questions were answered on Sunday night. Brandon led the team in minutes played, tied for the team-high with 18 points on 8-10 shooting, pulled 9 rebounds, and recorded 5 assists. Despite Brandon’s efforts, the West couldn’t pull off the victory, losing 134-128. Roy played like an all-star but admitted to being nervous. “I wasn’t relaxed, but once that first one goes down, you kind of get confident,” Roy said. “I don’t think the jitters ever went away. I was nervous, but I tried to be as relaxed as much as I could. I just tried to have fun. I was nervous, but once the game started turning to serious basketball, I actually relaxed a lot more.”
