Brandon's Blog: Getting Ready

Today we came in and had.a light practice. We did some shoting. We were just trying to get guys’ legs back from all the travel. And we put in a couple of offensive sets. That way, we can surprise them with some things tonight.
But we had some fun and got a chance to interact with the kids. This is the first time somebody actually played on this court. Itjs called the Agassi Center. We cut the rope and met with the media.

Last night, I did a T-Mobile clinic at Jam Session. I was able to go in and kinda put kids through some workouts and drills. It was about an hour long, so I put the kids throuugh some shooting drills and some passing drills. It was a good time and I got a chance to shoot around and just have fun with the kids. It was a really good response, so I was excited to be there to be a part of that.

After that, I had dinner at the Wynn hotel with my family and my agent. I got a chance to hang out with Jason Kapono (we have the same agent) and we talked about our events. It was a good time.

I’m getting a chance to interact with a lot of people, just seeing people walk through the hotels. And just hanging out with my mom.

Now, I’m gonna go back to the hotel, try to get a little nap in and get ready to go out there and put on a nice show for the fans.

That’s the motivation. We haven’t had any national television games. Unless you have League Pass, you probably haven’t seen me play. You probably just have read about me. But tonight’s a chance to be on the big stage, so I’m looking forward to it and hopefully I can go out there and play well … And not mess up!
